I think you are looking for only one person, not a team. Neither are you looking for someone to lead an existing team. So the responsibility or JD is very simple. He has to generate leads, follow them up, and get orders for your business. In case you have channel partners, then probably he also needs to interact with them and get business through them. You should not complicate matters where a simple one can get the work done.
