Please inform whether Company Managing Director and Directors are coverable under ESI Act when they are receiving monthly wages / remuneration below the prescribed wage limit under ESI Act Sec 2[9]

Directors and MD are employees under ESI,EPF gratuity etc if they are employed for salary instead of profit share.
