Facing Delayed Salary and PF Issues at Work: Should I File a Complaint?

hemant tyagi
Hello everyone, Greetings of the day! I joined Iljin Electronics India Private Limited on May 21, 2015, as a Senior Executive in HRD. For the first month, I received my salary on the 15th of June. However, for the month of June, I am still waiting for my salary and also for the transfer of my PF amount from my previous company. Unfortunately, my current organization has not paid the ESIC and PF contributions for the last four months.

Despite the strong financial position of the company, the Accounts Department informs us that there is a delay in salary payments due to paying off company loans. Additionally, my HR department has not obtained my PF number for the last three months. In light of these issues, I am considering filing a complaint against the company. I would appreciate your suggestions on the appropriate course of action.

Thank you.

Before you go and complain to outside agencies, first put up a representation to the office clearly mentioning about PF, ESIC, etc. The delay in transferring PF and ESIC contributions to the agencies concerned must be highlighted as a breach of laid-down compliances. If after your internal complaint there is no remedy, then think of complaining to PF and ESIC authorities. Equally look around for another job as you will need it.
