I work in a public sector from 2014. Last week I have submitted my resignation and mentioned that to release me from my duties giving a notice for 20 Days since we have notice period for 3 Months. Now my competent authorities are telling that they are not going to accept my resignation. Can it be possible that the employer can regret/ not accept an employee resignation in public sector enterprises and can a employer can force an employee to serve his complete 3 months notice period after resignation.
