Seeking Indian Employees: Can You Spare 10 Minutes for an Important University Survey?

sheraj20
Hello All, I am Shreeya from the renowned University of Germany. I have been given a task to conduct a survey for Indian employees. Could you please help me by taking up this survey? Any sector, any experience level, any designation, any company but working in India. It will just take 10 minutes of your time, and it's a really important survey on the basis of which statistical analysis will be done. We need only genuine answers. Your personal details are not needed at all; only your opinion is what we need.

I would be thankful and appreciate it if you are available to spend just 10 minutes of your time filling the survey. I have been given this big task. Please help.

Test mail me at [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons], so that I could share the link to the survey.

Thanks a lot in advance for the employees who are willing to take this survey.

Have a Great Day Ahead!!

Regards, Shreeya

Dear Shreeya,

The best way to get more respondents to answer your questionnaire is to provide a link to a web-based questionnaire here. Do you not think that it is too much trouble to email you and then receive the link?

Furthermore, may we please know what the aims and objectives of this survey are?

Wishing you all the best.

In addition to what the learned member above has written, the purpose of posting the same post in multiple areas of the forum is not understood.

Nature of the Survey

What is the nature of the survey? How will you validate what is written by those who respond to the rather long procedure of sending an email and getting a link to reply? Which university is conducting this survey? While I appreciate the idea of coming to the ideal forum for the conduct of the survey, the planning of the survey needs to be carefully worked out where you get replies from different people on the required aspects.

Further to what Simhan & Nathrao have mentioned/suggested, the usual procedure of such surveys is to mention the identity of the recipient of the results of the survey as well as the primary & secondary purposes.

In case you are handling the survey on behalf of another entity [like what SurveyMonkey does], you ought to have some documentation ready to prove the point—if someone raises a stink about the effort being a front for some other unsaid nefarious purpose—hope you do have such a document.

And if you think this is whimsical, please note that companies would sometimes give millions for surveys that suit their corporate plans.

You mentioned "I am Shreeya from the renowned University of Germany." Are you employed there—if yes, why did you use a Gmail ID and not your official mail ID? If not, what's your locus standi in that university?

Regards,
TS

Dear Shreeya, After reading the comments of others, I searched the web, and here is a link that lists the minimum information recommended for researchers when soliciting help. This is especially essential when a foreign university is conducting a survey. Mary’s helpful guide to soliciting research participation on the ‘net | Hoyden About Town. Please read through and respond.
