Query about Mathadi... Can anybody let me know if we are giving levy charges as per the act, then why is the negotiation and agreement with the Mathadi union necessary?
Can anyone do the needful for the above, especially from Maharashtra, as the Mathadi Union is more prominent in Maharashtra? Please reply, senior member.
I would like to ask you a counter question. When you pay an employee according to or above the minimum wage set by the government, why does that employee still demand more from you and why do you engage in bargaining with them? The answer to your question can be found within this situation.
I appreciate your input regarding the post. However, Mathadi workers in Maharashtra are not paid on a time-rate basis but as piece-rate workers. Therefore, minimum wages do not apply to them.
