Understanding Minimum Wages in Chennai: How Much Should Freshers Really Earn?

Greetings,

I am a fresher working in a food manufacturing industry in Chennai. I have some doubts regarding the Minimum Wages Act. What is the minimum amount of gross pay to be paid to an employee under this act? When I searched, I found that the basic wages per day are 78.88 and DA is 126.23. Is it 60% of the gross or the overall gross (shops and establishments)?
