Not Accepting Resignation - Employee Resignation

madhu9042
I received an offer to work at VSSC, ISRO as an apprentice. However, in my current position, I have a 2-year bond, and I have been working here for around 15 months. I want to move to VSSC, but my current employer is not accepting my resignation and providing a proper solution. I am feeling frustrated as I have been discussing this for about a week, and he keeps saying we will see later.

Please advise me on what I should do in this situation.

Employment bond is not valid in India. Have you sent the resignation email? Check with the nearby labor authority.

Thank you.

Put up a written resignation letter with notice as per the offer letter. Get it acknowledged by HR and your immediate boss.

There are many threads about the effect of breaking bonds, the amount that can be charged by the company, and circumstances where they charge, etc. Use the search button of the forum to get a lot of information.

Nothing to be worried about. I am sure soon you will join VSSC.

My current employer is withholding my salary because I submitted my resignation, but they have not accepted it. My joining date at VSSC is also overdue due to an offer I received from VSSC. I had submitted my resignation, but now I have left this job as well. They are now asking for money because I have a 2-year bond, and furthermore, this employer is not paying my salary as per the bond agreement. They also have my original mark sheets from 10th and 12th standard. Should I file a police complaint or approach the consumer court? They are currently refusing to release my salary. The primary concern is the possession of my original certificates. Please advise on what steps I should take.

Please inform the company that you will have to give a written complaint to the Police about holding your original educational certificates. Have you given notice as per the offer letter? Your threat to go to the police and labor authority will make the company return your certificates. Politely discuss this matter with them. These kinds of bonds have no real legal force unless and until they have provided quantifiable training and incurred training expenses on you. A polite but firm attitude must be shown to insist on the return of the certificate and the balance of the salary.
