How Can Start-Ups Keep New Hires Engaged from Day One with Effective Induction?

I work in an IT organization in Mohali. It is a start-up company with a few people. For organizations like these to grow, I feel it is important to hold the candidate's interest from the initial stage of their joining. Providing the right information at the right time seems to be the most important mantra here, which begins with providing the candidate with the right information on the company, hierarchy, its policies, etc. Devising a good induction and orientation plan would play a great role here.

Induction Presentation Request

Although some companies provide an induction program, new recruits are only given an Appointment Order without other written documents to inform them about vital information for their day-to-day activities, such as Standard Operating Procedures, Leave Rules, Job Descriptions, etc., which would outline their duties, responsibilities, and other necessary information. Providing the above-mentioned documents will create awareness and assist new recruits in following company rules.
