Seeking Advice: How Can I Return to a 5-Star Hotel Job After Losing It Due to Inexperience?

Since one and a half years, I'm working in the UAE. During this time, I have worked with two companies. My first job was with a five-star hotel in the HR department as an accommodation supervisor. I lost this job within six months due to my lack of experience. Currently, I'm working with a tourism company where I do not want to work. I truly prefer working with a five-star hotel in the front office department.

About My Education

I had to stop my studies in BBA (honors) due to certain reasons when I came to the UAE. I have also completed a 1-year hotel management diploma.

Could you please suggest what I should do?

To work in the front office of a hotel, you need to have good communication skills, politeness, and the ability to interact with guests. First, improve your English - speaking, writing, etc. Use your work in a tourism company to learn interaction with guests, speak, and improve your English. Once you become confident and learn how to handle guests, you might get a chance to work again in the front office of a star hotel.
