Resigning During Probation: Will I Get My June Salary and Travel Expenses?

gopakumar80@gmail.com
In the last 4 months, I have been working with a private furniture manufacturing company as an Area Sales Manager. As per my appointment letter, the probation period is 6 months. For resignation during probation, one week's notice is required from either side. If I give my resignation on July 10th, am I eligible for full and final settlement? Can I receive my June salary and traveling expenses?

You are entitled to pay on June 15. By this time, you should have received your normal pay. What date does your company credit the salary? Traveling expenses refer to the costs incurred while on a sales tour. This money also needs to be reimbursed according to the entitlement set by the company.

1. Yes, you shall be eligible for FnF processing. However, the salary processing shall be as per the company's salary cycle norms. For example, if the company holds your last month's salary for a resigned associate, then that shall be paid once the FNF is processed.

2. Traveling expenses shall be paid as per the Travel & Reimbursement Policy of the company. Generally, it's not paid to associates who resign within 1-3 months, or it shall be recovered from the associate.

You are entitled to your salary until your last working day in the company. Also, you are eligible for reimbursement of all official trips duly approved by your seniors. Similarly, you are advised to provide proper notice as well as a proper handover.

Dear all,

Now, I am working at ABC Company as an accountant. However, I would like to resign from the company during the probation period. I started working there on 07.07.2015 and intend to resign on 22.07.2015. Therefore, I would like to know if I can leave the job after one week of resigning and whether I will receive my salary during this period. Please advise.

Thank you
