We are going to use ethanol during the preparation of lens cleaning towelettes. Ethanol will be used in the production process. Is there any related authority regarding a license to use ethanol in factory premises?

Should it be in standard format or form number? We are already using Isopropyl Alcohol in our production of prep pads. If we have obtained permission for that, would we need new permission for ethanol?

It comes under the State Excise Department. You have to obtain a license from the State Excise for the purchasing, storage, and consumption of Ethanol (Denatured Spirit). The license is issued for one year from April to March, and you have to renew it annually. You are required to maintain a stock register for the purchase and consumption of Ethanol.
