VRS in PSU - apply as per designation as per appointment letter or present salary slip designation?

Hi.. I am working psu as AGM-engineering & project(as per appointment)since 2007..now I am transferred as AGM-pharma marketing (designation as per salary slip)..but the company has given Functional job as a "Medical representative" in the Northeast of India where the company does not have office or establishment for the last 18 months..being a mechanical engineer with 25 yrs experience could not get along because of noncore area medicine sales from home..meeting doctors & getting sales orders etc.

Now after a hectic struggle, I would like to apply for VRS. Kindly advise what designation I should apply for VRS.. designation as per appointment letter or present salary slip designation (never worked or responsibility given as AGM- pharma marketing)..or present Functional responsibility as "Medical representive"..kindly guide me as i can trust the company anymore. As they have the public money power to get things done against employees.

The post of AGM must have been on promotion over the years.
Kindly correct me if I am wrong.
What was the designation given to you in appointment letter?
Other wise. in VRS application give your position as per appointment letter but you can add currently working as AGM -pharma marketing.

What was your appointment?
Did you get promotions?
What is your present position.
Functional duties are a different thing.

I joined in 2007 as AGM- engineering & projects( the designation mentioned in appointment letter)..yes i am due for promotion.
Ok i can apply VRS as AGM- engineering & projects as per appointment letter..& currently designated as AGM- pharma marketing but for the last 18 months never worked or discharged duty as AGM- pharma marketing(no AGM-pharma marketing responsibility given) Though the designation as AGM- pharma marketing(as per salary slips) but company forced me to work/discharge duty as " medical represntive " (a very lower position in pharma marketing)..with due respect to company i worked as "Medical Rep"
My present designation as per salary slip AGM- pharma marketing.. But functional responsibility as " medical Representive" posting alone NE region of india..hope it is more clear..

Please share as when your designation changed from AGM P& E to AGM Marketing and why it changed. Were you consulted before that change?
while joining the PSU in 2007 you should have checked the future prospect of the company, because manufacturing and selling the medicines is no more a PSU activity in future.
