EPS TRANSFER

Dear All
When a person transfers his EPF from previous employer to present employer , whether the pension fund also get transferred. i did a on line transfer recently and in my account it shows transfer from previous employement no: under employer & employee contribution but pension fund shows blank .whether pension fund is merged with employer share during transfer . if pension fund will not get transferred along with pf transfer , then what is the procedure to be followed

Usually pension contribution will get transferred along with PF transfer. However confirm with your concerned Sub Regional PF Office. If not transferred, apply for scheme certificate by applying in form 10-C, get endorsed from previous employer and submit to previous PF Office.

I too transferred my pf amount from previous employer to present employer. Only employee and employer contribution towards PF got transferred ,i cross checked with the PF office they told that the pension amount will be accounted as number years of service (in case of transfer).
