i was the editor of my house magazine. i have changed the job. unfortunately, i do not have any copies with me, which i worked for. i give you some tips.
1. cover all happenings in the company. inaugurations, celebrations, competitions, etc.
2. write the contents short and put more photographs. try to cover common employees also in the pictures. many cover only executives.
3. keep the same font size in all pages. particularly, don not mix font size for two / three articles in a single page with different font size, just to cover the topic.
4. we also use to cover achievements from employee family. excellence in academic, cultural or in sports.
5. you can cover some interesting general topics on yogas, fitness, etc.
6. we also tried cross words on topics covered in the edition.
7. very important fact is that, what you publish, should be of interest to the employees. oherwise, you will find it in the canteens. we use to post to their residential address, so that their family is also aware of what is happening in the company.
8. we use to dedicate one full page for MD's message.
