Worried About HR Background Checks for New Job? Seeking Advice on Missing Documents and Office Setup

johnonline
Hi All, I was working as a software developer on a contract basis through a consultancy to their client for 3 years. I am now planning to look for another job. So, I am concerned about various HR background checks and other policies in the new company because I don't have bank statements or Form 16 from my employer as they were not direct taxpayers. Salary was received in cash. I have an offer letter, relieving letter, and pay slips from my employer. Will it be a problem if I get a job in CMM-5 companies without being able to submit bank statements and Form 16, as I have heard that their HR policies are different from startups unlike my employer? My office setup is also small as we work in a small home converted into an office ambiance. I have heard that office infrastructure is also observed during the background checks. So, will it be problematic during the time of physical background HR verification?

Concerns About HR Background Checks

Experts, please give me some suggestions as I have had many sleepless nights thinking of the background verifications and the future.

Thanks in advance to all.

Regards, John

Background verification (BGV) checks are done by most companies - some very rigid and stringent, some basic level checks. If your experience is true and you have capability in your field, the chances of securing a better job are high. Do not get into the fake experience business. Speak the actual facts and show your skills. There is no point in having sleepless nights. Just go ahead, apply, and face the issues if and when they arise.
