Employee Engagement Activities in manufacturing plant?

Dear All, Pls Suggest me what kind of employee engagement activities we can do in our organization... as am working in manufacturing plant, Now on next week i have to plan some employee engagement activities in my organization. So you all are requested to give me some suggestions on this.....

Well planned family get together with games,music,children programmes etc.
Ladies sports programmes along with friendly cricket/football matches for men folk.
Hike to nearby place.
Safety aspect to be kept in mind as always,since such get togethers with children etc have inherent dangers.
