Dear Phanindra,
Unless we know what topics you are dealing with, suggesting appropriate games and activities is not possible. Even still, I will share some of my observations for training students:
- Students will not concentrate beyond 30 minutes.
- Activities should involve everyone in the group; no exceptions.
- Activities that involve showcasing individual talents are a morale booster.
- When forming smaller groups, watch out for the dominant and timid ones, and place them accordingly.
- Written activities should be avoided to the maximum.
- In activities involving creativity skills, communication, etc., ensure non-participating teams have tasks like observing and assessing to prevent distraction.
- If time is limited for individual participation, consider activities like crosswords, story-building, Ads Zap, etc.
- Have fillers ready such as nine-dot exercises, lateral thinking, to keep those who finish tasks early occupied.
I hope these tips are useful.
