Gratuity Register Confusion: Do We Record All Employees or Just Those Who Quit?

Can I be helped to fill the gratuity register? Do we have to fill the gratuity amount of all employees or only the employees who quit?

I have corrected the spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors in your text. I have also ensured proper paragraph formatting with a single line break between the two sentences for clarity. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Can you clarify the form no (i.e., i, j, k, l), which you are naming as gratuity register.

As per the Gratuity Act, employees are eligible if they complete 5 years of service or 240 days in the 5th year. Only their details need to be filled if you are maintaining a record of gratuity.

For accounting purposes, auditors used to show it as a liability for the next year.

Is there a concept of gratuity register under the law? I don't remember seeing one in the act. Perhaps you have an internal format that is not a legal requirement?

There is no gratuity register. If your organization has not obtained a group gratuity policy, the accounts department will provide for the sum of all employees' gratuity in the books of accounts.
