Working Wih Consultant Firm Is Considered As Good Exp Or Not

vhemant7
Dear Seniors & Friends,

I am MBA in HR (2007 passed) from Chennai. My passion is to work in HR domain and acquire good knowledge of all HR functions. However, unfortunately I had to join as Tech Support Exe., whilst 4th project sem. of my MBA, to help my family situation . I have been working as TSE for about

1.5 yrs for a reputed BPO.

Now after I am exhausted of night shift, think it's high time to start my career, so i started searching fo:icon1:r HR jobs preferrably in IT/Telecom sectors but do not find one suitable as Companies ask/prefer only for 6mns-1 yr Exp. candidates - My candidacy is pushed back.

1) I want to know if my experience is accountable?

[I was really one of the best performer at job]. I sure don't want my 1.5 yrs exp go waste!

2) Also if anybody can tell me : Am I late for HR job as a fresher candidate in corporates ?

OR..

Should I try consultancy firms and get exp in there spending 6mns or 1yr?

which i don't mind..

and I understand from above comments on Jyoti's question that it should be beneficial.

Please guide me Gurus!

Thank you.

PS. Wow!, I see this forumthread is quite old , maybe people posted here have settled abroad ? :icon1:
