I wanted to get some ideas from all of you on what activities we can consider for employee engagement at a BPO Company.

A proper communication channel, employee participation, and empowerment are crucial elements of employee engagement. One should remember that "Engagement" per se is not an individual phenomenon; it comprises many elements, such as job security, support from supervisors, and the availability of resources. This, in short, can give you ideas to build upon. Employees should be given a free and fair environment to work in. Women employees should have a safe and caring environment, including remembering that they play the commendable double role of employee as well as homemaker.

The key is to convince employees that management, from the CEO to the first-line supervisor, greatly respects, values, and cares about employee health and welfare.
