Navigating HR Challenges in a Small Company: Establishment Code and PF Registration Guidance

This is Prachi. I am currently working as an HR professional and have recently joined the company. The company's current strength is around 7 employees. Will they be eligible to generate the company establishment code? If yes, how can this be done? Additionally, I need guidance on how to start registering employees for PF. In case they are not getting registered, how can I provide proof to the employees as they request salary slips that are valid internationally? The company operates in the online media sector.

Hi,

There is no restriction on employee count for PF registration. However, if the employee count is more than 20, then it is mandatory to register for PF. I am attaching the PF registration form for reference. You will have to contact the Regional PF office for registration.
