How Can Employers Retrieve EPF Payment Confirmation Details Online?

This month, we made the EPF monthly payment through internet banking of SBI online process, but forgot to save the transaction completion details.

Kindly let me know if there is any option where the employer can view/print monthly online EPF remittance confirmation details.

Hi Sowmya,

If you forget to save the transaction details, there are 2 options to get the transaction number. When you check the bank transaction details, there will be a reference number against the transaction. You can use that number for reference. Additionally, you have the option to download the challan at the same link. There, by providing the TRRN number and the establishment code, you will be able to download the challan.

She is asking about the remittance slip. I also want to know how to download the remittance slip from the paid challan. I want to download the remittance slip of May 2015, but the Esewa portal is only showing the challan from June 2015.

1. We have made an online payment of EPF contribution amounting to Rs. 36,095 in respect of TRRN No. 1801607001799.

2. After the successful completion of the payment, CRN No. 071616209996916 was issued by State Bank of India dated 08/07/2016. However, on the EPF website, the EPFO remittance confirmation slip has not been received even after 15 days.

Please solve the problem so that we can receive the EPF remittance confirmation slip from EPFO.

Yours is not the only case. There are lots of incidents where it is taking even more than a month to receive the confirmation slip (CRN). It has already been discussed with the EPF department, and they advised not to worry. Anyhow, we will have proof of payment such as the Online Transaction receipt or the bank statement showing the date of debit. That is valid proof of payment.

Is the remittance confirmation slip available for the new Unified portal of PF, or is it no longer issued? We can see the "payment confirmed" status for payments made in January and February, but it does not show the payment date anywhere.
