Worked With 1st Company A And They Closed That Company A And Opened Company B.

Hi All,
I have resigned with company B and when requested for my exit documents. They only gave Appointment & experience letter from A & from B also but both are on different letterheads.

The situation as follows: I worked with company A for around 2years and suddenly they closed company A and opened company B(with different name and in company B, i worked for around 2 months only) and told us we will get all Appointment & experience letters from both companies but they issued it separately. but when i apply for jobs in another company they treat as i have resigned from company B within short period.

My questions is, is there anyway i can get both (total of 2 years & 2 months of experience) in one company letterhead, i.e. on Company B as it is active in present market. Kindly suggest me me how can i prove in job market that i worked with stability in that organization, but company has gave different documents which is not my mistake. Kindly help me out.

BTW: wanted to highlight some points here like, 1.signing authority is same for both. 2.There is no website for both companies till today.

Probably you can request the Company B to write that you had worked in Company A which is now closed and has become new entity Company B.

Hi Nathrao, Thanks for your reply. Can you share me the sample format please. so that i can request with the concerned HR department. I' am sure that they do not have any format because when i asked about this issue they said, they cannot provide. so kindly share me sample format so that i can discuss with HR manager directly.

There may be no such sample format.
Something like this would be good enough:
Shri------- worked in our company as ------- for a period of 2.2 years from ------- to -----.This period includes 2 months of service in our associate company -----.
The employee was competent in his job and has shown good conduct throughout his period of employment.
There are no dues outstanding against the employee.
You can add or amend draft as per conditions.
