Feeling Burned Out at TCS: Can I Resign and Rejoin Later with a Salary Hike?

Hi Everybody,

I'm working at TCS for the past 2 and a half years. I really feel like I need a break from continuous work. My project is very high-pressure, and they are not releasing me from it. This time, I received a C band. I am tired of asking for a release. Therefore, I am planning to resign as of now. Is it possible for me to rejoin TCS after 6 months or maybe after 3 months? After how many months can I rejoin the same company? Is it possible to rejoin TCS with a salary hike? Please advise.

Will TCS take you back, especially if you leave a project which is high pressure from the point of view of management.

There is no such laid-down policy for a time limit to take back an ex-employee. It depends on skill level, subsequent arising of a suitable vacancy, and how you have been as an employee in earlier tenure.
