Left Job Without Notice: How Can I Access My PF Balance Now?

I left my previous company without serving the notice period as I got a very good offer from a new company. In my previous company, I had a PF account "MH/XXXXXX/XXX", but in my new company, I haven't opted for PF. So now, how do I get my PF balance as I didn't receive any form for PF from my previous company? Or any advice?

It's very easy. Go to the website http://epfindia.com [i]<link updated to site home></i>, select the State "Maharashtra" in the box, then select the Region/Office code corresponding to your account number MH/................/XXX (it would be mentioned in the area which I have kept blank). Once you click that, the website will lead you to a page where you need to furnish your details in the 3rd and the 5th box (the 3rd box is the area to put your establishment number and the 5th box is the space for putting your own PF Number (it's the xxx in MH/................/XXX which you have mentioned in your note). Fill in your name and mobile number, tick on the "I agree" box (after reading the declaration), and then click on submit.

You will receive the details regarding your PF balance on your mobile number. Try it out and let me know if it works.

Invalid Input / Member name mismatch against this MH/BAN/0xxxxxx/000/0000XXX

Does it mean that my data has not been updated on the server yet?
And in case I need to withdraw the amount, how do I do that?
