Hi all, I worked at company X and was relieved on December 5, 2012. I joined the next company, Y, on December 6, 2012. However, company Y made a mistake in that they considered the 5th as my joining date and paid me on December 5, 2012.
Discrepancy in Experience Letters
According to my experience letter, December 5, 2012, is indicated as both my relieving date from company X and my date of joining company Y. I did not notice this discrepancy when I received the experience letters from both companies. I am now in the process of joining company Z, and they have requested that I rectify this error.
Process for Correction
I would like to know the process for correcting this mistake and what supporting documents I need to provide to my upcoming company. Your assistance in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated, as I fear missing out on a valuable opportunity due to this error.
Thank you for your help.
