I am a civil engineering student who graduated in 2014 from Andhra Pradesh. Currently, I am preparing for the IES exam. My ambition is to establish a construction company. I lack knowledge in business and the respective fields of construction. Could any of you please suggest the approach I should take moving forward?

The best option is to work for a few years with a construction company so you have first-hand knowledge of the industry and how it works. The remaining things depend on a wide variety of circumstances, such as your family background, available money, contacts, etc., which no one can judge or guide purely based on the three lines above.
