Navigating Pension Claims: How Long Until I Receive My Late Father's Benefits?

Hi, I need to know some details regarding the pension claim status. My father worked at L&T for six years (2000-2007) and resigned from that private company. The company was located in Mumbai, Bandra, and my father received a P.F. amount and gratuity. I have now applied for a pension. Initially, they had to fill out the 10D form with my mom's signature and also his children's signatures separately. Unfortunately, they were rejected for some reasons. They were then asked to fill out the 10C form, which I have also applied for. My query now is when will the process be completed? When will I receive the amount for this pension status? My father passed away in 2008. I need your valuable reply.

Dear Mr. Sudarsan S.,

If your father passed away before reaching the age of 58 years, your mother and children (children below 25 years) will receive family pension by applying in Form 10D. Otherwise, the nominee on behalf of your father will receive withdrawal benefits, for which Form 10C can be utilized.
