Absconding from an IT Job: What Consequences Should I Expect and How Might It Affect My Future?

I absconded from a renowned IT company before completion of my probation period. I have received the first warning letter. What actions can the company take? Also, can the company affect me for future jobs due to absconding?

You have to reply to that warning letter stating that you don't wish to continue there due to some personal or other reasons and settle the account. They may blacklist your profile in NASCOM or whatever they call it. Pre-employment verification might become a problem for you. If you have any company's property, they may file a police complaint to recover the same.
