Hi All,

I am searching for training material on Six Thinking Hats. I have enough PowerPoint presentations and material on this topic but I am not able to figure out how to implement the same in training. I am also looking for group activities for training on the same topic. Please help me out.

You need to create exercises and activities around the material you have. You can create an exercise with some statements and ask participants to categorize them as per the thinking hats. You can give participants some work situations and ask them to do role-plays with different thinking styles. You can put in some case studies. You can do brainstorming exercises. Call me if you need more information.

Atul gave you the best suggestion, such as: You can provide participants with some work situations and ask them to engage in role-plays using different thinking styles. Additionally, you should write down the steps outlining the benefits you aim to achieve with this training. After jotting down the benefits, create a goal for each one, with each goal mapping to an activity related to the Six Thinking Hats method.

For each benefit that can be derived from using the Six Thinking Hats, you can come up with an activity. For example, the productivity of meetings can be greatly improved (in terms of enhanced creativity and reduced time taken) when all participants use the Six Hats in a specific order. You can create an activity with this benefit in mind. Similarly, you can develop activities for problem-solving, growth thinking, and many more.
