Navigating Factory Licensing in Gurgaon: What Forms and Fees Are Involved?

Can anybody please tell me the procedure for getting a factory license under the Factory Act for Haryana, Gurgaon? Also, what are the forms and the fees for obtaining the license under the Factories Act?

Procedure for Obtaining a Factory License in Haryana

In Haryana, first, you need to register your company on the Haryana Labour Department site. After that, apply for a factory license online. Form-2 and the fee calculation chart are available there based on your manpower and sanction power. Accordingly, calculate and pay the required fee through the treasury challan, which is also available online.

Further, you need to submit the following documents:
1. Old copy of the factory license if renewal
2. List of directors
3. Board of Resolution
4. Memorandum of Articles
5. Electricity load sanction
6. Form No. 2
7. Fee paid online

First, you need to contact a Chartered Engineer to prepare the building map. After that, you can submit it along with all the relevant paperwork. You can obtain a copy of the checklist from the office of the Deputy Director IS&H or from Nand Book Depot in Gurgaon. In the meantime, you can file Form No. 2 online, but the license will not be issued until the building map is approved. Additionally, you will need an RR report from the Assistant Director IS&H.
