My above-mentioned question may seem absurd, but this was faced by me today when the chairman asked us to explain the relevance of HR in the organization. It did not resonate with him much. He emphasizes more on human relationships, and he is right to some extent. However, now after a few months of working on HR processes and maintaining personnel files, the argument has started regarding the relevance of personnel files maintenance.
Please, please help with this, or else HR will vanish along with me from the current organization.
