Electrical Safety Inspections: How Often Should They Be Conducted by the Government?

Hi, I work in the maintenance department where we conduct safety inspections of our electrical installations, such as DG sets and transformers, by the government electrical safety department. I would like to know if these inspections need to be carried out annually or once every five years. Thank you.

It needs to be done annually. Refer to your license for transformers and DG sets; it will be stated in it. It's also specified in one of the electric regulations.
