Terminated During Probation: How Can I Resolve My Pending Settlement and Documents?

I have been terminated from my service during my probationary period. I managed to work for 5 months within the organization. I was terminated due to a zero-tolerance policy regarding the quality sheet. A termination letter was issued to me, stating that my service certificate would mention "Terminated."

However, it has been over 2 months, and my full and final settlement has not been completed. When I inquired about the relieving letter or experience certificate, I was informed that no further documents would be issued as the termination letter has already been provided. It is important to note that the termination letter clearly states that I would receive a service certificate reflecting the termination.

Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Why Do You Want a Service Certificate?

Why do you want a service certificate that shows a service (in fact, poor service) of 5 months? Why do you want a certificate that declares that you were terminated? The company had completed the full and final settlement, and therefore, you are not at a financial loss. So, why can't you forget about the 5 months of service with them?

If you are concerned about having a gap in your service history, then I would only say that if you are striving for a flawless career trajectory without any breaks, you should have met the company's expectations and avoided termination. Since you were terminated, a gap has already been created that cannot be filled by any means. While you may provide personal reasons for not working during these 5 months to an interview board, once you have a written record of termination, you cannot evade questions about the gap in your service.

Experience Letter vs. Termination Letter

You already have a termination letter which states that you have worked for 5 months. So, what help will the experience letter give? Is there a specific reason why you need the experience letter itself? In a way, it's better that you do not have an experience letter, especially as it would state that you were removed for quality or on a zero-tolerance policy.

Thank you for the response. After this call quality zero-tolerance issue, I got to know that I would be terminated before I received a response from the manager and HR. I have given a letter to them to serve the notice period for one month in probationary, as per the offer letter. However, the management and HR decided to terminate me even after I had given the notice period.

Now, I have received the termination letter in which it was mentioned that a service letter would be issued. However, they are now denying the same. They kept my salary for the 5th month on hold for 3 months and then paid it.

Query Regarding Notice Period and Salary

My query is, if they have not accepted my notice period, then is there any requirement for holding the salary? I have also not received any notice pay amount that I have not served.

Kindly help me out with this problem.
