Can I Withdraw My PF After Being Terminated from a 5-Month Job? Seeking Advice!

My name is Rahul Kamath. I have a query regarding my PF withdrawal. I have worked in the organization for 5 months, and I am eligible to withdraw the PF amount. Also, I have been terminated from my services. Can I apply for PF? Please do reply. Your response would be highly appreciated.

You will not receive the pension scheme amount if the contribution is less than 6 months. However, it is possible to get the EPF amount if your employer authorizes the application on humanitarian grounds. Fill out Form 19 and submit it to your employer, requesting them to authorize it.

Another option is to transfer that fund to your present company, in which case the EPF and EPS amounts will be carried forward.
