Struggling to Link UAN with Current PF Due to Incorrect KYC: What Can I Do?

eigen01
My organization is facing problems in linking my UAN number to the current PF account number. The reason cited is "incorrect KYC" information. The KYC provided by my previous employer (which is linked to UAN) is incorrect. The document used for KYC is the bank account where the account number is correct, but the IFSC code is incorrect. I tried to resolve this by taking the following steps:

Step 1: I asked my previous employer to change my IFSC code (as per my account) since they are still being represented as the current member ID in the UAN profile.
Result: They confirmed that the IFSC code should not be an issue for linking the current (new) PF account number to UAN by the employer.

Step 2: I uploaded my PAN card and asked them to approve it, assuming that PAN card details would match on both sides and linking would be completed.
Result: They have not yet approved my KYC document and have said they cannot approve it because I have left the company.

Step 3: Left with no choice, I have asked my previous employer again to modify the IFSC code as it does not match with the account number (as per the cheque leaf).
Result: No response yet.

I would like to know what options I have to get my current PF linked to UAN. My problem "current member ID" is reflecting as the PF number from the previous employer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Eigen01, If you are not able to visit your previous employer physically to fix the issue, or if they are not responding over email or phone, consider seeking help from professionals like Akosha.com.

Ensure to maintain a professional approach and attempt to resolve the issue through appropriate channels. It's essential to communicate effectively and seek assistance when needed. Good luck with resolving the matter with your previous employer.

Eigeno1, Nandi has rightly said, Akosha may help to solve the issue. However, you may consider resubmitting the form by ensuring all the fields are correct, especially the IFSC code. This code is mandatory to accommodate transactions accurately. While submitting, double-check your bank details along with the bank account number and IFSC code. You are better off using Myifsccodes.com to do this right.
