Hi Seniors, is there any rule for appraisals to be conducted for outsourced employees? Have any judgments been made regarding whether appraisals should or should not be carried out for outsourced employees?
There is no law requiring you to conduct an appraisal for any employee. It's an internal process that companies follow to determine who should receive a salary increment. For outsourced employees, it is advisable not to conduct appraisals on your end. This could be used by contract workers to support their claim that the contract is fraudulent and that they are actually employees under your direct control.
