Is PF Registration Mandatory for My Firm with 30 Employees and Mixed Wages?

My firm has 30 employees. Only 15 have wages less than Rs. 15,000. Is registration for PF mandatory in my case?

Yes, even if there is only one employee with wages equal to or less than the ceiling limit, registration of EPF is mandatory, provided the total number of employees is equal to or above 20.

If 15 employees are getting more than 15000/- as basic salary, will the EPF Act be applicable?

Similarly, for ESIC, if there are more than 20 employees but only 15 employees are earning a gross salary higher than 15000/-, what does the ESIC Act say?

Please advise me on the matter mentioned above.
