Facing Online Harassment on Facebook: How Can I Protect My Reputation and Career?

I posted on Facebook, searching for any job opportunities in relevant groups. A person named Pranav Sahay began making baseless accusations against me publicly, which he is unable to prove. He is now trolling all my posts, tarnishing my reputation, and seriously damaging my career. I have saved all the screenshots. What actions do you suggest I take to teach him a lesson?

I am assuming you have already registered this as a complaint with your employer. In case you are working on your own, I would suggest these options:

- Please report this to Facebook at your earliest.
- You should keep a close watch on similar responses on other social media domains as he is likely to create pseudo accounts to bully you further.
- You can lodge a complaint with the cyber cell if this doesn't stop.
- Lodging an FIR is the last resort.
