Here is an update regarding the change in administration charges of EPF (A/c 2) and EDLI (A/c 22).
Changes in Administrative Charges
The administrative charges, which were earlier 1.1% (A/c No. 2), have been changed to 0.085% or Rs. 500/- per month, whichever is higher, for all functional establishments, and Rs. 75/- per month for non-functional establishments with no contributory members.
Similarly, the administration charges, which were earlier 0.01% (A/c No. 22), have now been changed to 0.01% or Rs. 200/- per month, whichever is higher, for all functional establishments, and Rs. 25/- per month for non-functional establishments with no contributory members.
In simple words, the administrative charges, which were earlier Rs. 7/- per month, are now increased to Rs. 700/- for functional companies with no contributory members and Rs. 100/- for non-functional establishments with no contributory members.
