How Can I Get My Full and Final Settlement Statement from My Previous Employer?

My name is Abhay Patel. My previous employer deposited an amount into my salary account. When I inquired about this amount, they informed me that it was my full and final settlement. However, despite requesting a copy of the full and final statement, they have not responded to my emails.

Please advise on what steps I should take to obtain a copy of my full and final statement.

Steps to Obtain Your Full and Final Statement

Send them a letter through registered post with an acknowledgment, demanding the F&F document within 14 days of receiving this letter to avoid further proceedings. They will send it. If they don't send it, raise an industrial dispute at your regional labor office.

In which company are you currently working? No company wants to release the final dues payment to be deposited in a bank account without completing exit formalities, such as clearance of debt, your signature on final dues, issuing a relieving letter, and an experience letter.

Recheck with HR for Full and Final Settlement

Do recheck with HR. It could be that the courier or email regarding the F & F settlement has not reached you. The details are generally sent to the postal address or email ID provided on the Clearance Form filled out on the Last Working Day (LWD).

Do recheck your contact information with HR. It could be that the courier has not reached you. Trust in HR. No professional HR can intentionally do such things.
