EPFO has cut the administrative fee it charges from nearly eight lakh employers coming under the ambit of its social security schemes, effective from January 1 this year. The administrative charge has been reduced to 0.85 percent of the basic wage from 1.10 percent, as per a Labour Ministry Notification.

EPFO has reduced the administrative fee it charges from nearly eight lakh employers covered under the social security schemes, effective from January 1 of this year. The administrative charge has been lowered to 0.85% of the basic wage from the previous 1.10%, as stated in a Labour Ministry Notification.
