Facing Company Closure: Should I Resign Now or Wait Until March? Urgent Advice Needed

savita165@gmail.com
Dear Seniors, I have been working in a recruitment firm since November 14, and now the management wants to close the organization. What should be the reason for resignation, or should I resign effective from March 9 or today itself? I will only be paid for the month of February.

The Managing Director (MD) is supportive in all documentation and Full and Final (F & F) settlement. He openly shared the situation regarding the funding problem.

This is urgent, please advise.

Regards, Savit

Search for the job first. Once you find the job, you can submit a resignation letter and request a service certificate immediately (if your boss is supportive). It won't look good to search for a job after being relieved from a company, even if the company could not pay your salary. This is not a problem. Take a long leave, stay at home, and search for a job full-time. Once you secure a job, you can resign and promptly request a service certificate so that your service record will not have any gaps.
