I want to start a housekeeping company. Kindly advise me on the licenses and registrations required for a housekeeping company. Am I liable to be enrolled under EPF & ESI at the initial stage? Also, what are the estimated rates to be quoted for a housekeeping contract? Please help me.

Hi, if you are going to start with more than 20 people, then you will definitely need PF. ESI will have to be considered without fail if the gross salary is less than ₹15,000 per month in some states, so check it out. You will have to register for service tax for sure.

For rates, you have to analyze your competitors in your city.
