Feeling Stuck in HR After an MBA in Finance and Marketing – Is This the Right Path for Me?

bonkuri.chiru@gmail.com
Good afternoon to all,

Career Path Inquiry

I have two doubts about my future:

1. I completed an MBA with a major in Finance and a minor in Marketing in 2012. Now, I have been working as an HR executive for one year. I did not study HR subjects during my MBA, but I got a job in the HR field based on references. My question is, is this the correct path for my future?

2. Is it possible to study HR as a subject in an MBA certification course?

Please advise me.

Thanks in advance.

Don't rely solely on references. Only pursue an HR profile if you genuinely have an interest in HR. While HR may seem like an easy field to some, it is actually a vast concept. You can enter an HR profile even if you come from a non-HR background. Gradually, you can enhance your skills and opt for distance courses. So, think wisely. Review the job description that has been offered to you, then make a decision.

Good luck!
