Thanks for this useful information. We have already recovered around 7% during December 2014 and remitted it in January 2015. I am inquiring whether this contribution needs to be increased or if the amendment applies only for the December 2015 recovery payable in January 2016.

It is applicable for the year 2015. Therefore, you should deduct the above-mentioned amount in December 2015 and pay it in January 2016.

Hi Folks,

I remitted Rs. 21 (Rs. 7 + Rs. 14) for the year 2014 and paid in January. At the time of Assistant Inspector Labour inspection, they asked me to remit and pay the balance amount for the new amendment, Rs. 30 (Rs. 10 + Rs. 20), i.e., Rs. 3. Kindly suggest.

Regards, Vinoth

Hi all,

LWF, with this act, how can an employee benefit? Is it only meant for tax or does it provide other benefits?
