How Do You Balance Compliance and Costs for Statutory Registers in Small Teams?

I need your valuable suggestion. I work in one of the leading security companies as a Sr. Executive-HR. We have been facing several instances where inspectors visit our client site and provide inspection/infraction reports. These reports cover various areas from minimum wages to contract labor to compliance with the Payment of Gratuity Act and more. In many cases, we have only 2-3 staff members at the client location.

I kindly request your valuable input on how to maintain statutory registers in compliance with the law while considering a cost-benefit analysis.
