Struggling with Excel 2007? How to Plot Bell and Pareto Curves for Appraisals

I have gone through previous messages related to how to plot a bell curve on Excel, but none are very detailed. Please guide me on how to plot a bell curve on Excel 2007 for performance appraisals. Also, guide me on how to plot a Pareto or power law curve on Excel for the same purpose. An early reply will be of great help.
