Withdrawal of PF Amount Before 6 Months

I have been working with a company for the last 4 months, and a PF amount of INR 1208 is being deducted every month. I am planning to look after my shop at my native place due to some issues.

My HR has mentioned that I cannot withdraw my PF amount if the account is not 6 months old. I have only one option to transfer my PF account, and I do not want to create a PF account for my future shop.

Will my hard-earned money go to the PF fund, or is there any possibility to withdraw my amount? Please HELP!!!!!!

No, you are eligible to withdraw your PF. However, the contribution made to the pension fund will lapse unless you transfer it to club with future services.

Thanks a lot for the support. That is okay that I will not receive the pension amount. Still, I want to withdraw my PF amount, whatsoever it is. But my HR is stating that I have only one option - I can transfer my account, else the PF amount cannot be drawn. What can I do?

Kindly write to the Assistant PF Commissioner in charge of the Information Officer at your Regional PF Office under the RTI Act 2005. You will receive a reply within 30 days. Approach your employer with the reply.
